The hotel location is attractive for business or other purpose visitors, because the hotel Beumonde is located within 2 minutes walking distance from the city’s main Rustaveli Avenue, where Opera and Ballet State Theatre named after Z. Paliashvili, Rustaveli Theatre named after Shota Rustaveli, Rustaveli and Amirani movie theatre. The place where the hotel is located is called “Mtatsminda” (Holy Mountain), which dominates the center of the city. Initially, the three-storey building was constructed to replace an old upper station of the Funicular (a mountainous cable-operated railroad (501 meters) with upper and lower stations) located at an altitude of 727 meters above sea level, in 1936-1938. A “different” and most beautiful structure of the building had become a symbol of Tbilisi.
